Monta Money in 7 Minutes

Rookie Ellis scores 7 points in 8 minutes from Mercury
Warriors rookie guard Monta Ellis got his first action in seven games, and was quite impressive.
He checked in for point guard Baron Davis at the 8:16 mark of the fourth quarter with the Warriors down 91-73 and helped turn garbage time into a glimmer of hope. He didn't get time at point guard, but he displayed his scoring ability. Playing alongside Jason Richardson and Derek Fisher on the perimeter, Ellis scored seven points during the Warriors' 104-94 loss Tuesday.

Monta's progress is one reason Miles became expendable.

Monta Ellis could be real good if he got the chance. He could be an energiser that scores well off the bench now and become a serious player over the next couple of seasons. He is a great talent and the Warriors were lucky to draft him and Taft! They shouldn't fuk it up and lose those two for nothing!
