WARRIORS NOTEBOOK / Montgomery says fired Weiss was in tough spot

Montgomery says fired Weiss was in tough spot from SFGate.com
Hands up: For the second straight game, centers Ike Diogu and Andris Biedrins picked up two fouls apiece in the first quarter. Enter rookie Chris Taft, who is the Warriors' lone big man to steer clear of foul trouble lately. Taft has committed just two fouls in his last 25 minutes and has yet to pick up more than four in a game.
'He can play behind a little bit more, use his length, and Taft is strong,' Montgomery said of his 6-10, 261-pound rookie. 'He's bigger than you would give him credit for and he can use his weight pretty well.'
