Break time is crucial to Warriors from the CC Times

Warriors coach Mike Montgomery has been dogged in getting his key players rest, saving some juice for down the stretch. It's meant being creative with his rotation and, sometimes, biting his fist. He's been forced to get really creative with his bench lately.
The original plan was to rest the starters one or two at a time. But the last couple games, the starters have been forced to play nearly the entire first period because the Warriors have been behind. As a result, Montgomery has been caught with five reserves on the floor at the most inopportune times, or he's had some unusual combinations on the floor together.
But it's something that has to be done.
