The Offseason

Make sure to check out Dave from MVN The City's Warriors Offseason Update.

Also make sure to give the man some props on his cool new logo.

Come to think of it, we're long due for a facelift to our beta version of the Golden State Warriors BLOG. Any requests? Email us at goldenstwarriors@gmail.com or drop a comment in this post.

Yeah Dave- definitely a slow off-season. I still have my fingers crossed that Gary Payton will make his return to the bay and help guide the Warriors back to the playoffs.

Chris, Rod, Mitch- I know you're reading this. Make it happen fellas!

Alright let's get Paul Pierce. If Walker leaves by signing elsewhere or sign and trade then everyone knows the celtics are going young. Pierce will then be traded.

Why not then send M. Dunleavy, Murphy (Base year), trade exception from the Robinson trade and two first round draft picks for Pierce. If I understand the Base year rule it should still work out with the trade exception.

We would then be young down low but we would definitely make the playoffs and even contend in a few years IF Diogu and Biendrins pan out, which of course is a big IF. What do you guys think?

Great idea "anonymous"- that's a trade I'd like to see.

Before everyone gets on our cases saying we already have JRich at the 2- think about it like this.

1- Baron
2- JRich
3- Paul Pierce

Pierce is a great rebounder too and good defender when he's motivated.

Make this trade and the Warriors are the 3rd seed in the west. Yes, the only teams better are the Spurs and Suns. And Pietrus becomes your 6th man of the year.

Man, that idea's too good to post anonymously, especially if the numbers work out like you say they do. Did you try it in RealGM?

Holla back!
