First-quarter blues stump Warriors from Mercury

It's one thing to identify an area of weakness. It's quite another to find a solution for it.
That's the conundrum at Warriors headquarters these days concerning the team's first-quarter blues.
Players acknowledge they need to get out of the gate faster in games. Coach Mike Montgomery talked about it at length after Thursday's 99-89 loss at home to the Indiana Pacers.
But no one seems to know how to remedy the situation.
