Bench Warriors

Monty looks to bench early for faster starts from Inside Bay
'If we need to have a different chemistry of guys, maybe that's something we have to look at,' Montgomery said. 'I don't know how many stat sheets I've gotten in the first quarter where I've looked and said, 'The other guys are shooting 64 percent, and we're not shooting very well and they've got 10 more rebounds than we do.'
In an attempt to rectify the situation, Montgomery has been calling upon his bench with greater abandon in the early going.
The biggest casualty of that policy is Foyle, who in the past three games has seen his first-quarter minutes plummet from 11 to 9 to less than 6 against New Orleans/Oklahoma City on Monday.
