East Bay pair battle long odds with Warriors from Inside Bay Area.com

Despite their status as Berkeley residents, Justin Davis' parents never swore allegiance to the Golden State Warriors. His mother has been a longtime fan of the Los Angeles Lakers, while his father jumped to the Miami Heat after Shaquille O'Neal switched coasts.
If things break right for their son, however, they both will have to start paying more attention to the local team just down the freeway.
Davis and Ray Young, former teammates at St. Joseph in Alameda, are trying their best to top some long odds this month and carve out a spot on the Warriors' opening night roster.
