Former Iowa basketball player Pierre Pierce has been invited to pre-draft workouts with the NBA Atlanta Hawks and Golden State Warriors, but could have a difficult time getting there.

Pierce, who is facing criminal charges in Dallas County related to a January incident, must get an Iowa district court judge's approval to attend either work out — and that doesn't appear likely.
