Hakim the Fanball's Choice

Fanball.com's latest Mock Draft has the Warriors taking Syracuse Forward Hakim Warrick.
The Warriors are considering a change in offensive philosophy to a style that mirrors the new-look Suns. If Golden State goes through with that transformation, Warrick is a logical choice thanks to his athleticism and ability to run the floor. With Baron Davis running the point and Jason Richardson on the wing, Warrick would have no problem filling the lane and could have a nice opportunity to make an impact as a rookie. Hakim can be found all over the board, but we see him climbing as the month progresses.

Good idea?

if the warriors play like the suns, i'll be happy because it's a lot better than playing like the warriors. if they play like the suns and make the playoffs or make the last months of the season worth watching, i'll be ecstatic. they might not win the finals with a team built like that, but geez they've missed the playoffs 11 years in a row. small steps.

taking warrick would be good for the team. they need his athleticism to run the break and play tough D.
