To the Clips? Nope. To the Kings? Probably not. Regardless of your thoughts on Artest you have to love the drama.BUT, Warrior fans have to be scared. Every team that pops up in the rumor mill is in the Pacific Division. If the Lakers, Kings, or Clippers somehow manage to pull off a trade for Artest, say goodbye to any chance at the playoffs Warriors Nation. Artest is going to make life miserable for JRich four times a year and put any of these squads far ahead of the Warriors. The Warriors are already barely above the Pacific Division gutter.
Kobe and Artest? Brand, Cassell, Mobley, Kaman, and Artest? Bibby, Miller, Abdur-Rahim, and Artest? The Warriors simply won't be able to compete.
Mullin and crew need to bring Artest to the Bay or else the playoff drought is going to extend to possibly 12-13 seasons at least. Everyone not named Baron and Jason should be on the block for Artest.
What are your thoughts about the Warriors and Artest? Are you worried about Artest on another Pacific Divsion team?

Honestly, I think ESPN reported the deal prematurely and are just covering their asses.
yea i thought that might be the case too, but it wasn't only espn who reported it. rotowire.com and the AP also reported the deal as being done. in fact the AP is reporting that it could be back on:

Looks like it's a done deal. Artest to the Kings.
This is a serious problem for the Warriors.
