Warrior Fans... On FIRE!

Warriors hope to 'fan' home fires from Inside Bay Area.com

Tonight's home exhibition opener against the Phoenix Suns will mark the first time Golden State has set foot on its home floor since April 20, when it closed out the 2004-05 season with a 106-89 victory over the Utah Jazz.

And though tonight's game won't count in the standings, the Warriors would love to use the opportunity to convince their supporters to become as rabid and vociferous as those in Sacramento, where the Kings recently unveiled a 10-foot statue of the numeral "6" in honor of their fans' sixth-man status.

Let's say the Arena is going to be rocking 2nite and for the rest of the season. Unlike past seasons, the 6 of us (DJ Fuzzy Logic, Atma Brother #1, Fantasy Junkie, YaoButtaMing, Warriors are Hopeless, and SmogCheck1) won't be the only ones sporting City jerseys and wildly waving Warriors foam fingers!
