The Best Ticket in Town?

SFGate's Janny Hu reports that theWarriors say ticket sales are moving briskly. In one sense it's exciting, but in another this only guarantees that Cohan, Rowell, and the rest of the Warriors (mis)management will continue to rack up dollars. It's amazing that these guys have had one of the most profitable teams in the NBA for the past decade in spite of putting out one the worst products in all of sports. It's a testament to how great Warriors fans are.

Anyway, do you think the Warriors will be the hottest ticket in the Bay Area next season?

Count one vote for the Thunder City.

Yeah, but I'm going to be pissed if I can't get good tickets this year, I'm a college student and can't afford season tickets or even mini-plans, and now all the good seats are getting snatched up by bandwagon fans.

What competition is there? The A's, maybe, but no one cares about the A's.

Nice blog! Keep up the good work!

Hi,

I’ve been browsing your site recently and found it to be a great resource for Warriors fans. I am also a hardcore Warriors fan and am starting a simple website for Giants fans to buy and sell tickets to each other for free. Very simple idea.

I was wondering if you would be willing to plug our site in a couple weeks when it launches. We're just a local group of fans, and we can't afford any real advertising, so just a blurb in your blog would be very appreciated. Here’s a sneak peek at the site, which is still in its heavy testing phase, and not yet released to the general public – www.tixtrade.com

Thanks for your time,
