Lots of Praise for Diogu

Rookie Diogu is making impact in The Arizona Republic

NBA summer league fans are either hard-core hoops junkies or relatives of players. The ones watching the last of 42 games over 10 nights kept looking for stars in the Vegas Summer League. They were treated to a shooting star Friday night.

Ike Diogu of the Golden State Warriors put on a league-best, 37-point performance against the Suns. It included a three-minute stretch so dazzling that the ardent fans, including one wearing Diogu's former Arizona State jersey, cheered his exit like they had no other player.
