Getting back that Olympic moxie

Getting back that Olympic moxie by Janny Hu for SFGate talks about Mullin's work for the next USA Hoops Squad.

Still, the executive has kept busy, because for all the non-news his team is making, there is one headline Mullin wouldn't mind fluffing up these days: The restoration of USA Basketball.

Mullin attended a prestigious gathering of basketball minds in June after being summoned to Chicago by Jerry Colangelo, the managing director of the senior men's national team. The dreamiest of Dream Teams showed up, from all- time greats Jerry West, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird and Mullin to former Olympic coaches Lenny Wilkens, Chuck Daly, Dean Smith and John Thompson.

The purpose was to overhaul the process of selecting an Olympic squad for the next Summer Games, and the theme was commitment.

If you could send one Warrior to the Olympics who would you send? Why?
