Not Worth the $$$?

From today's Daily Dime over at
Just because the Clippers have uncorked the best start in franchise history doesn't mean it's a great time to be Mike Dunleavy. Scan a little further up the coast and you'll find Golden State's Mike Dunleavy doing little to hush the skepticism that greeted his fat new contract extension (nearly $45 million over six years) received on the eve of Opening Night. The Warriors are off to a decent start, especially with catalyst Baron Davis playing hurt, but the son of the Clippers' coach was shooting just 31.3 percent from the field and averaging 7.6 ppg through Thanksgiving.

Do you think Dunleavy will continue to put up these poor numbers for the rest of the season? How about for the rest of his time as a Warrior?

I hope he can learn to make most of his wide open Js. I wish he could learn to be a scorer like Rick Barry or a good shot like Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond, Purvis Short,... these Warriors hardly ever missed wide-open shots but Dunleavy does this regularly!

No, Dunleavy will never become the player that Mullin thinks he is. Sure he is an okay passer but he doesn't have the fire or desire to be great in this league. Look at Yao Ming, he doesn't have the fire to be dominant but he is still good because of his height. I only recently realized this but, whenever I hear the name Dunleavy, I automatically think of weakness and getting blocked. I don't know if it's everyone getting to me or if its what I have observed.

No, I don't think Dunleavy will ever be a very good player in the Warriors....... anywhere for that matter.

I am hoping he becomes good for the warriors' sake but this thin, white poof just doesn't seem like he has the balls to or talent to be great! HAHAHAHA
